About Us

Founder and CEO

Yeme Dessalegn is the founder and CEO of Miraculous College Graduates Employment (MCGE) a 501 c 3 non profits whose mission is to assist low income college graduates (LICG) to acquire job search skills and to identify job opportunities. Yeme holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from National University in Los Angeles and a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a focus in Administrative Management from California State University in Los Angeles. 

While Yeme was working in a nonprofit sector as a staff accountant, she was impressed how nonprofit seek to improve the quality of life and thus she developed a strong desire and passion in building and advising LICG in employment strategies.  She decided to provide consultations for those struggling LICG in identifying the field they want to purse and equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the business world to benefit themselves and the community.  Yeme is adept in managing a number of tasks at once with superior organizational skills. Her complete understanding of budgetary foundation coupled with her interpersonal skills gives her the ability to present a positive organizational image. Working as a Financial Advisor in a financial institution has provided her with the capabilities to interact with potential donors and communicate with various levels of stakeholders and run a successful organization.

Miraculous College Graduates is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. 

Our Mission

Mission:  Miraculous College Graduates Employment (MCGE) mission is to assist low income college graduate to acquire job search skills and to identify job opportunities


Goals:

  1. To increase employment of low income college graduates
  2. tTo offer technoloy based training with modern day reequired job search skills
  3. To enhance the imployability of program participants
  4. To motivate and inspire participants throuout the job search proccess


Objectives

  • To provice training to prepare participants for interview with follow up ablout the outcome after the interview
  • To encourage personal growth through group discussions and professional consultations
  • To give graduates an opportunity to be emplooyed within their field of studies
  • To develop an alliance between employers and college graduates
  • To organize and lead graduates thro face to face career focused discussion
  • To offer employment sservices free of charge
  • To provide economic, social and democratic contributions to society


About us:  Miraculous College Graduates Employment is a nonprofit with (501)(c)(3) tax exempt status.  Miraculous will work with recent college graduates to assisst them obtain employment.

  • To get involved with varous community of local businesses and employers that share miraculous College Graduates Employment goals in revitalizing the employment prospect for low income college graduates
  • To develop an alliance between graduates and employers
  • To cultivate college graduates who are inspired to pursue their employment and profession
  • To offer employment free of charge to the graduates
  • To get a small donation of $3,000 (Threethousant)/quarter from employers for a period of one year after the graduate is employed for three months.
  • To provide economic, social and democratic contributions to society.

Our History

Miraculous College Graduates Employment was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the President and CEO Yeme Dessalegn who wanted to create a place with activities and support services that would cater to the specific needs of low income College Graduates and with serve six to eight Universities in Los 

Our Staff

We operate our non-profit with seven staff members (including the President/CEO Founder to the organization) We offer a wide variety of programs in our office to meet the needs of those we serve
